Privacy policy
What withHarmora collects, why, and what it never does. Last updated October 2026.
What we collect
- Your postcode — the base layer of every calculation.
- Your questionnaire answers — about your home, your household and your readiness. Sixteen core questions, plus follow-ups your answers make relevant. Each answer adjusts named factors in your report — the report itself shows what every answer changed.
- Your email address and account — only if you register or buy. Accounts work by emailed sign-in link; there is no password to store. If you register, your answers are saved to your account so your report, plan and editions can be regenerated each season; report snapshots (scores and top risks per generation) are kept as your history.
- Your plan progress — the steps you tick off are stored in your own browser, on your own device; clearing your browser data clears them.
The optional address step — exactly what happens
At the end of the questionnaire you may add your street address for a sharper report. If you do: the address is used for one calculation, the moment you submit it, to derive point-level signals (for example, the measured distance from your place to the vegetation edge). The address itself, and its exact coordinates, are never stored, logged or passed anywhere else. What is kept — in your report's URL on your device, and on your account if you are signed in — is only the derived signal values.
Be aware those values are precise: some of them can indicate your location to roughly street-segment level. Skipping the step costs you precision, nothing else; postcode-level reports are complete without it.
What we use it for
- Your postcode and answers generate your risk report and your staged plan.
- Your email operates your account (sign-in links), delivers editions you buy, forwards official alerts while an edition you hold is current, and sends the service messages you asked for. Every email carries an unsubscribe.
- If you buy an edition, payment is processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. Account and order records are stored with our database provider in Sydney, Australia.
- If you join a launch or interest list, your email is used only for that list's single purpose and labelled with it.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- If advertising ever appears on public preview pages, it will be clearly labelled and never personalised from your account or answers. No advertising appears on registered pages, reports, plans or checkout.
- The risk data itself comes from official public sources — it contains no personal information. Our data sources are listed in How it works.
Your choices
The check starts with a free account — one email, one sign-in link. If you have an account or have given us your email and want your information deleted, or you have any privacy question, contact support@withharmora.com and we will act on it.
Deleting your account removes your saved household and history; editions already delivered to you by email remain yours.
Your home, your data, your call — that is the whole policy.
